Most of the best places on earth to live is in EU, World's biggest exporter is EU, more people live in EU than in America, World's biggest financial markets in terms of total value is in EU, per capita income in many of EU countries is more than in America, Total EU GDP is bigger than American GDP, quality of life is better in EU than in America, Social security and benefits are better in EU than in America, Healthcare is better in EU than in America, Rail network, road network, bus network is far superior in EU than in America, then why is America called the super power rather than EU?

US probably is more welcoming to foreigners than most of the EU countries. People prefer US because it is easier comparitively easier to work and live because of the English language.

However, I have to agree, UK and US both are not the best in terms of living quality. Switzerland and Scandinavia wins hands down. Australia and New zeland, canada all have better quality of living than US and UK.
