8 of my friend applied of ASY lum and all of them got approved , I have been taking suggestion with all of them and they are saying I should really do it because this year they are accepting alot . So just tell me should I do it or not .

which state did your friends apply from?I heard mix reaction for instance the asylum process is slower in virginia and NY thesedays and also did they apply within one year arrival time in US while they were in F1.

Chujan,
All my friends did it from California + they said there is higher chances of getting in that state so if I decide to do it then I will definitely choose California.

bt i dont really see any disadvantage in it though..

@chujan-- one of my fren applied in virginia...he was approved... he didn't went to nepal at all.. lost his passport was out of status from college....applied in VA ... got approved ..
