Hi everyone, I am thinking of transferring to South Dakota State University. So i would like to know if it is a good university or not? also i would like to know whether there is on campus employment available to students or not.It would be great to know what the weather is like there in south Dakota and if students can live off campus from the beginning of their studies there. Can someone also tell the living cost if we stay outside the campus. I would be very much happy to know my questions being answered. Thank you.

I dont know about the Uni in particular but SD..i know ....Go there if you are OK with harsh winters, small towns, no good international airports, less social life ...but then u are going there to go to school...so it should nt be that bad..just look @ the tuition/fees and the name of the program you are going for...Also be ok with long drives between cities and badlands!! but SD is a fun place to be if you are into nature, fishing, lakes, camping , hiking, indian heritage...and some areas are beeautiful
