During my last visit to Nepal, I bought some malas as gifts to my friends here in the US.
One of the malas I bought was a "Lotus Seed Mala." The seller told me that the pearls were seeds of lotus flower.
Since I had never seen how the lotus flower seeds look like for real, I took his words. But now I am looking at the mala and starting to doubt.
Can someone please tell me if these are real lotus seeds?

Lotus seed mala kinda looks like that but I can't say for sure that your mala is real.

The mala on the link you send looks like the one I have. Since these perals are quite hard , I wonder if they are real or just plastic.
