Hello Ocinboy, I am not exactly in Schenectady but close to it, Albany. Go to albanydesi.com and they will have some indian roommate ads. Since you are moving this Saturday, choosing from them will be one of your options if you really need room asap. After that you might want to choose apartments, craigslist, stores, etc.
