Is Rastriya Parichaya Patra required to renew Nepali passport in Nepal. I couldn't find clear info in Nepal gov website.

Thank you bro for your suggestion. Just trying to see if Sajha folks know about it and they can share. I am out of Nepal, trying to renew passports for my parents in Nepal.

As far as I know, National Identification card is mandatory for passport in Nepal.

As of today to my knowledge, new type of national identification card is required to make/renew new Nepalese passport. More importantly, national identification card can be made only in Nepal. Out of photocopies of many documents, you need the old and original nagarikta card (NO PHOTOPIES). Hope this helps.
