Will there be any problem with unlocking ATT iphone 6 plus in Nepal?

Thanks facebook for your response. icloud ta clear cha only phone is locked with ATT. So I didn't know if they can unlock it in Nepal.

When I wanted to unlock my phone with ATT, I just called them and asked for the unlock code. I think they emailed me the unlock code.

I've unlocked ATT phones (not iPhone though) before by just calling the customer service. I told them I was travelling abroad and needed the phone unlocked so that I could use it there.

I've got my android phone unlocked by calling ATT and asking them to unlock it. They didn't even ask me for a reason. I don't see why you can't do the same with iPhones.

Att ain't locking iphones unless you have passed your contract period.

When ATT unlocked my phone, I was still under their contract. Maybe they unlocked it so easily for me because they thought I wasn't going to switch carriers.

Thank you friends for sharing your experiences. Actually I bought this iphone 6 plus from ebay to gift it to someone in Nepal. This is a refurbished ATT locked with clean icloud phone. I am not an ATT customer myself so I don't know if I can ask ATT to unlock this phone. Hopefully they'll be able to unlock it in Nepal.

efg, goto eBay and search ATT iphone 6 plus unlock, there are number of sellers who sell unlocking service. I have seen prices as low as $.99. Give it a try.
