EAD for F-1 Students from Nepal Experiencing Severe Economic Hardship as a Direct Result of the April 25, 2015 Earthquake
As separate from the TPS designation, the USCIS intends to give EAD for F-1 students from Nepal who are experiencing severe economic hardship affected the earthquake. This proposal was approved by the White House OMB yesterday and the USCIS is likely to publish the notice in the federal register to implement this special EAD program for Nepal F-1 student EADs.
