Hi, I lost my I-94. Currently planning to file for political assylum. Couple of lawyers told me it's not necessary when filing. So I'm willing to take their word for it...but I just have a hunch that USCIS will postpone my interview for not having a I-94. Please suggest. Thank you.

I cannot retrieve it online because just on 2013, they went all paperless on I 94 so anybody who came before 2013 April 30th, their I-94 cannot be retrieved online.I myself tried three times..because I couldn't believe it...so after putting all the info...it said "not found". I could file a replacement form and pay $330 to get a new "paper" one.

It is one of the Very Very Important document. one of my friend had mistakenly wrote her fathers name instead of her name in the I-94 card she came through the immigration that time. Later on she filed Asy. and her result was set pending because of her I-94. Tell your lawyer before hand about this. may be he can help you. Even mistakenly have written her father's name caused her problem.
